In Belgium there is an entire union dedicated to brewing beer called the The Union of Belgian Brewers. How awesome is that? They’re in charge of certifying Abbey beer breweries, which use the traditional Belgian Trappist method of brewing beer. Currently, only 18 Abbey Beer Belgian Ale breweries exist.
